Which Class is Best for Me?

Morning Yoga on the Beach – No experience necessary.  Come join us every morning, 7 days a week, on Narragansett Town Beach and start your day in a positive way with our morning Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar).  This class offers a mix of primary Yoga postures, Sun Salutations and power Yoga postures.  All ages welcome.  Bring a towel, water and sunscreen.  We are in the sand in between lifeguard chairs #3 & #4.  Rain Location: Natural Fitness Studio, 76 Narragansett Ave.  Thank you for sharing and making summer in Narragansett funJ.  You are always in our Aums.                                2008 starts June 14th thru Aug 31st 8:00-9:10am EVERY DAYJ

Yoga - Offers a wide range of Yoga postures for students of all levels with focus on proper alignment, body/mind awareness, breathing techniques, and press points. Beginning modifications to postures are provided, while students with knowledge of postures are encouraged to go deeper into their own practice. These classes mix Hatha (hold postures), Vinyasa (flow postures), and Ashtanga (power) Yoga.  All levels welcome.

Heated Yoga - Same as Yoga class above.  Heat will aid in increasing flexibility, improving endurance, and lymphatic drainage. Designed to strengthen personal focus, balance, empowerment and endurance. Room temp 95 degrees. All levels welcome.  (September thru May: Every Tuesday & Wednesday Nights 6:00pm; Every Saturday Morning 9:15am)

Heated Power Yoga – Same as heated, but this class consists of more arm balances and balancing postures, lots of Sun Salutations & Vinyasa flow (mix of many traditional postures).  Students should have knowledge of postures and press points.

Yoga Basics - Always wanted to try Yoga, and still haven't? This is a great place to start.  No experience necessary.  Yoga Basics is an introduction to primary Yoga postures, press points and breath awareness.  This class is designed to ease you into Yoga with modified postures and breathing techniques.

Yoga for Children – (ages 6 – 12) – Offers children the opportunity to learn to focus the breath while relaxing into poses such as dog, cat, cobra, dolphin, pigeon & birds of prey.  This class will teach children the enjoyment of exercise while learning to control the breath and calm the mind.

Yoga for Teens - Yoga helps teens relax, focus, build self-esteem and self-confidence. Learn basic Yoga postures and breathing techniques that are ideal for students learning to balance school, work, athletics, and everyday life. Back in the Fall.  ($5.00 per class)  Call 401-783-9229, if you have a group of friends and would like a personalized class. J

All Classes - Instructors encourage students to experience their strengths and capabilities in an atmosphere free of judgment. Modifications are given to meet each individual’s needs in all classes.
